Caring for the works
Caring for cold-porcelain flowers
Cold-porcelain flowers need no complicated upkeep and can keep their beauty for many years. A few simple recommendations are enough to keep a piece in perfect condition.
Dusting
Over time a little dust may settle on the flowers. Use a soft dry brush, or a cool stream of air from a hairdryer at its lowest setting. Wet wipes, water and cleaning products are not recommended.
Sunlight
It is best to place the flowers away from prolonged direct sunlight. Like many materials, they may slowly lose colour saturation under bright sun.
Gentle handling
Every flower consists of many fine details and is made entirely by hand. The material is resilient, but falls, strong impacts and pressure on the petals should be avoided.
Storage
If you put a composition away for a while, it is best kept in a box or a closed cabinet, protected from dust and accidental damage.
Restoration
If anything happens to your flowers, please get in touch. I always stay in contact with my clients and will help restore the piece or suggest the best solution wherever possible.
